Summer may be over now but we”re still laughing when we remember our beach football contest at Canford Cliffs. This was a great family event, open to all the Astute team and their friends and family… and for those who weren’t into football, we had plenty of beers, BBQ food and wine too!
We recently received a lovely thank you email from the team at Julia’s House, and we’d like to say another HUGE thanks and well done to the Astute team who took part in the Dorset Plane Pull on Monday 26th August. The Astute team raised almost £800 for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice with 20 team members pulling a Boeing 737, weighing a collosal 35,000 kg, for 50 metres!
Did you know that Astute has been nominated for Best Lead Nurturing Campaign in this year’s B2B Marketing Awards for our work with EE? http://www.b2bmarketing.net/resources/awards-2013-category-23-astute-ee
Darryl Squires, Astute’s Sales Director, climbed 5,895m to conquer Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, in aid of Giving Africa; http://www.givingafrica.org/ Darryl has raised over £9,000 for Giving Africa to build a school in one of the world’s poorest countries, Burkina Faso. A huge well done to Darryl, we are all very proud of your achievement!
***We’ve just updated our cover photo! This year we were lucky enough to be selected as one of Comic Relief’s hotline donation call centres. Our team went all out to raise as much as we could, and have as much fun as possible while fundraising. This included releasing 200 helium Red Nose Day balloons. Collectively we raised over £3,000, but the biggest donation we gave was taking donations over the phone on behalf of this great cause! ***
This month Google celebrated its 15th Birthday with an interactive piñata! Well, this year Astute celebrated 15 years of exceeding customer expectations, and to mark the occasion we held a summer beach party during the weekend of the famous Bournemouth Airshow! Check out the pics!
This year we were lucky enough to be selected as one of Comic Relief’s hotline donation call centres. Our team went all out to raise as much money as we could, and have as much fun as possible while fundraising. Among the many fun events was the release of 200 helium Red Nose Day balloons, and collectively our efforts raised over £3,000 for Comic Relief – but we are most proud of being able to offer our time and services…
