Snowdon Sunrise Charity Climb

Like the great explorers before them; last Friday night a group of intrepid Astutians began their six hour journey from Bournemouth to the foothills of Mount Snowdon.  Arriving at Wales’ largest mountain in the dead of night, the group donned their head torches and began the 1,085 meter climb up the brightest peak in the British Isles (outside of the Scottish Highlands).  After 3½ hours of trekking our dedicated team reached the summit just in time to witness the sunrise over Snowdonia National Park all in aid of raising funds for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.  This was a fantastic effort from everyone involved – all of us at Astute are extremely proud of you! WELL DONE!!
